“Lanzarote Camp was more than I expected. The gravel routes are exceptional and so varied and have so much to offer. Alice, Claire And Karen were wonderful hosts, guides, et al. Welcoming, helpful and informative. I have met some fabulous women on my week and new friendships formed. Plans to meet at future SitW events”

I don't class myself as a cyclist and have not long since had an off road bike so I wasn't sure this would be for me or that I would feel comfortable. I can honestly say it's a super inclusive and lovely community where you can ask as many questions as you like. I felt really supported and encouraged throughout the whole weekend and would recommend this to anyone looking to start or develop their bikepacking skills and knowledge. An all round awesome weekend with lots of fun, coffee and snacks!

Alex, Peak District Intro Weekend

I had such a fantastic time at the SITW rally in Devon. I made a great set of new friends to go riding with, got to test out a load of great bikepacking gear and found out about some really good initiatives and new cycling groups to join. The weekend was fantastic value for money and I came away feeling inspired and uplifted. There is something magical and liberating about seeing a big group of women on bikes and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of it.

Alice Baddeley (East Deven Trail rally)

I had an amazing time riding the East Devon trail with 74 other Sisters in the Wild! It pushed me just the right amount out of my comfort zone without being scary or unmanageable. The route was hilly and quite long but so varied and beautiful. I loved the off road! The eating and drinking spots were plentiful and delicious. The camping spots were stunning, and the other riders were supportive, fun and down to earth bike-loving folk. Took a little while to recover, but would do it all again tomorrow!

The most wonderful adventure ever! A great introduction to bike packing, built up so much confidence in 4 days that would have taken years on my own. Charlotte, Rach, and Robyn were so welcoming, kind, and warm from the moment I arrived. The whole weekend was the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and bonding. The girls were so knowledgeable about bikepacking and cycling and I felt like I could ask any questions at all, but at the same time didn't feel out of place or patronised. They catered so well for all abilities. Everyone on the weekend gelled together really well and I know I've made some great friends. I left the weekend totally inspired to go and plan some more of my own adventures and excited to get back on my bike.
