Join us for a free story sharing sessions and social, over Kendal Mountain Film Festival weekend in our home base of the Lake District. After a bit of a welcome and time to grab a drink, we’ll share two of our rider’s stories and then have a group Q&A to close. We’ll then roll on into an open social - the bar will be open for beers and hot chocolates!

The event is FREE, but you’ll need to grab a free ticket via Ticket Tailor through the link below if you want to join the stories part of the session 1-2:30pm. We’ll then open the doors again for folks to come and join for our post-talk social.

Timings:

1pm - 2:30: Welcome + Stories (ticket required - grab one on Ticket Tailor. )

We’ll aim to begin the talks around 1:20pm, so plan to arrive and settle by then!

2:30 onwards: Social - open door, no ticket required

Drinks will be available at the cafe, come along a little early to grab one in time for the talks! The cafe doors will open to all once our films and stories sessions have finished. Come along to join the social.

Stories session:

Cycling the coast of the UK

with Katy Roberts

This year, Katy completed an incredible ride, cycling around the coast of the UK on her Saddle to Sea adventure. That’s roughly 3,500 miles! But the reasons for her journey went much deeper than a thirst for adventure. Having lost her Dad to suicide at 13, her aim was to use this experience to raise money and awareness of mental health, connecting with others on the journey to remove taboo around the subject, and encourage conversation. Katy raised an incredible £13,000 for mental health charities, and any funds raised at this event will support her chosen causes.

Kyrgyzstan - Riding & racing on the Silk Road

with Jade Field

This summer, Jade spent almost 2 months in Kyrgystan. Part touring, part racing, and ultimately crossing the finish line of the infamous Silk Road Mountain Race in 3rd place. Jade will be with us to share her tales and perspectives from the trail,
